A third-person soulslike set in a Japanese valley at golden hour. You play Arata, a masterless ronin in a straw kasa, hunting the 25 champions who each hold a fragment of the Red Shard. Combat drops to black and white with only the blood left red. Everything below is captured from the current in-engine build (Unity 6, URP). Snapshot 1 was a single canyon and two enemy types; this is where it stands two days later.

The valley

One continuous 2 km world built from scanned rock, real pines, bamboo and sakura, with water, mist and roads between regions.

The SummitRidge Pass climbs to a shrine above the whole valley.
Lake KagamiThe lake and its waterfall, home of the fishing village.
